Gomphidius roseus. This was one of the most unique mushrooms I’ve found recently. The veil is slimy, transparent and gelatinous, not the usual white, delicate spongy veil I had been expecting. If we had found this a day or so later, the veil might have broken and we wouldn’t have witnessed the unique veil. The mushrooms from this genus also grow parasitically on Suillus mycelium, so it may indicate a future Suillus patch
