I went to the canyon nearest to me just to spend a few minutes looking at how pretty the mountains look in the snow, and what did I notice? Green, lively moss! For the first time since I moved here three months ago, the moss was verdant, rejuvenated, no doubt from the moisture that trickled down from the melting snow. I could not be more thrilled, especially since I’d been longing for the small communities that form in pockets of moisture. It’s so nice to find little clusters of lushness.
