Offering a vast array of mushroom cultivation supplies, teaching classes and being a presence within the local and regional community. Their perks include mushroom art, medicinal mushrooms and tinctures, grow kits, and foraging trips! If you haven’t heard of them before, now is a great time to check them out, donate, and possibly get some art or a kit to grow your favorite fungi!

I sprinkled some Wine Cap (Stropharia rugosoannulata) grain spawn in this garden bed a few months ago and I think this is the first fruiting. Normally the cap would be wine-colored but the color has likely faded with age. I’m going to check back more regularly to observe the full life cycle (if these mushrooms continue fruiting).
